Narciso Ramone made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Stratos Alexatos sent off a good shot on target. Agustin Florian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkis Kalaboukas having to interfere. The supporters of GREEK ARMY booed when Racing Club【LBF】 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Camerino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's Nestoras Lazopoulos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. The audience was convinced that Cesar Fiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alkis Kalaboukas was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stratos Alexatos to make the kick off. During the 65th minute of the match Stratos Alexatos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Stratos Alexatos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
