An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitor Sarceada in the 3rd minute of play forced Morabem EC's goalkeeper Cido Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cido Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitor Sarceada's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Cido Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvano Ariztegui in the 13th minute. Silvano Ariztegui hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Everardo Bellogin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cido Peres was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. If Erlon Cristian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Everardo Bellogin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cido Peres. Morabem EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Everardo Bellogin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Morabem EC's Cris Ronaldo, in the 29th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Morabem EC. Raulo Orodea struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Cido Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imperio Catatumbo de Lara. Vitor Sarceada scored 2-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cido Peres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Ariztegui in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cido Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Labora in the 39th minute of play forced Morabem EC's goalkeeper Cido Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitor Sarceada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Morabem EC's Humberto Pinheiro got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 46th minute, Teobaldo Vivero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Morabem EC's Cido Peres didn't even have to move. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mito Kroos to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Ariztegui in the 53rd minute of play forced Morabem EC's goalkeeper Cido Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morabem EC's Cido Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Ariztegui in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Raulo Orodea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cido Peres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernardo Labora charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Labora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Labora to maneuver through the defense. Mito Kroos scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ipar Estebanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Rubio Pando was substituted for Vitor Sarceada. Cido Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubio Pando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Hondo Bailey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters rose to their feet, but Hondo Bailey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cido Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Morabem EC's goal looked a bit too open when Rubio Pando came free, but Cido Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubio Pando in the 88th minute of play forced Morabem EC's goalkeeper Cido Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Raulo Orodea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cido Peres. Morabem EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raulo Orodea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 93rd minute Rubio Pando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Morabem EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Imperio Catatumbo de Lara.
