In the 6th match minute, Golden Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel Bendík to maneuver through the defense. When İlyas Tolga Balkır fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Çanakkale's protests and gave İlyas Tolga Balkır a yellow card for diving instead. İlyas Tolga Balkır kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Gökmen Çoğa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Špalek in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Çanakkale's İlyas Tolga Balkır got a free kick in the 15th minute. František Skoupý showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kadim Yağızbay in the 20th minute of the match. Mustafa Kemal might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over František Skoupý. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Kemal ran back to his position shaking his head. Kadim Yağızbay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but František Skoupý read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Çanakkale's goalkeeper Gökmen Çoğa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanislav Špalek. Gökmen Çoğa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Špalek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Miroslav Pšenica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miroslav Pšenica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 minutes, Ömer Rıza Reca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Çanakkale and the Golden Tigers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Çanakkale getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ömer Rıza Reca hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Tigers's zone, Kadim Yağızbay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. František Skoupý came out of the goal and Kadim Yağızbay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the game, Çanakkale's Kadim Yağızbay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. František Skoupý made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Stanislav Špalek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Golden Tigers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Çanakkale were winning 0-1.

55 minutes into the match, Çanakkale's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislav Špalek came free, but Gökmen Çoğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, Çanakkale's Mustafa Kemal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. František Skoupý was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, Daniel Tlapák had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gökmen Çoğa. Çanakkale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Tlapák was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kadim Yağızbay got free with František Skoupý in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Miroslav Pšenica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Miroslav Pšenica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökmen Çoğa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Tlapák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Špalek in the 78th minute of play forced Çanakkale's goalkeeper Gökmen Çoğa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Kemal's late challenge caught a Golden Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustafa Kemal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Çanakkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Kemal to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
