Clive Couzens's late challenge caught a Nordic Union's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Nordic Union booed when Dorking United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathon Proctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trey Seal scored 3-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Ekeroth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clive Couzens hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Haley in the 35th minute of play forced Nordic Union's goalkeeper Mats Ekeroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tobias Skålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nordic Union's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Skålberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Delaney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Skålberg in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Hellström was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Nordic Union was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Pihlgren to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Dorking United FC booed when Nordic Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Skålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th match minute, Dorking United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathon Proctor to maneuver through the defense. If Trey Seal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nordic Union's zone, Denis Amos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Ekeroth came out of the goal and Denis Amos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Dean Adamson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dorking United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Denis Amos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tristan Haley scored 5-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Ekeroth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Denis Amos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mats Ekeroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Nordic Union's Boris Pihlgren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eric Delaney. That made the score 5-1 after 84 minutes of play. In the 92nd match minute, Dorking United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buster Bamford to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Pihlgren got free with Eric Delaney in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dorking United FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
