When Frances Tisserand came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Marshrose fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frances Tisserand couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, ASC South United's Ricky van Aalderen got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 11th match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frances Tisserand to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goal looked a bit too open when Jame Gilliam came free, but Gert van Westerop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Marshrose getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Baudouin Pope hit a great ball. Dirk Jan de Lange struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Santiago Hatch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASC South United. Gert van Westerop was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Frances Tisserand capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frances Tisserand really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Baudouin Pope scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gert van Westerop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to ASC South United getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Dirk Jan de Lange hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Dirk Jan de Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Marshrose's Frances Tisserand slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gert van Westerop. That made the score 4-0 after 41 minutes of play. In the 44th match minute, ASC South United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk Jan de Lange to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ASC South United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ricky van Aalderen hit a great ball. Gert van Westerop made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Frances Tisserand sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frances Tisserand to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, ASC South United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Need to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute of the match Baudouin Pope shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gert van Westerop showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mirko Stuijvenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mirko Stuijvenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ASC South United's Mirko Stuijvenberg got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 57th play minutes Jame Gilliam shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Gert van Westerop and just under the crossbar into goal. Gert van Westerop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baudouin Pope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes of play, Marshrose's Frances Tisserand made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gert van Westerop was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Marshrose booed when ASC South United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Need didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Baudouin Pope sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ASC South United's Gert van Westerop didn't even have to move. Gert van Westerop came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Marshrose's Frances Tisserand. But to his dismay, Frances Tisserand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Ricky van Aalderen hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Gert van Westerop didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jame Gilliam went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 81 minutes into the game, Marshrose's Frances Tisserand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gert van Westerop made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After a rather tough play, ASC South United's Dirk Jan de Lange got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, ASC South United's Ricky van Aalderen got a free kick in the 90th minute. Marshrose's Jame Gilliam got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gert van Westerop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baudouin Pope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Marshrose were the better team. Marshrose's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
