Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armido Mikluž ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th match minute, Dacians Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Enigărescu to maneuver through the defense. Șerban Bulcă came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Fajteri's Francelj Kunstič. But to his dismay, Francelj Kunstič quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Orlando Kutnjak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Șerban Bulcă made a huge save. In the 15th minute Augustin Oltean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vojkan Lapuh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Francelj Kunstič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute of the match, Armido Mikluž got a very nice opportunity to score, but Șerban Bulcă was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 24 minutes, Francelj Kunstič managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fajteri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francelj Kunstič was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Dacians Academy's Șerban Bulcă got control of the ball when Orlando Kutnjak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orlando Kutnjak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Șerban Bulcă made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Orlando Kutnjak sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Fajteri defense, Stelian Cezariu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vojkan Lapuh. The Fajteri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vojkan Lapuh should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Radu Scutaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vojkan Lapuh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Oltean in the 47th minute of play.

Șerban Bulcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francelj Kunstič in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Fajteri booed when Dacians Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Cezariu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Ivek Majstorović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Augustin Oltean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vojkan Lapuh. Fajteri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Oltean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Augustin Oltean charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augustin Oltean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Augustin Oltean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dacians Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Augustin Oltean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vojkan Lapuh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dacians Academy's Șerban Bulcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francelj Kunstič in the 71st minute of play. Adam Enigărescu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Francelj Kunstič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Bulcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
