The corner led Barbie Doll United U23's José Carlos Varela to fire away a dangerous shot which Bulsky Pane despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anwar Ibrahimović in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doni Pires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doni Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anwar Ibrahimović in the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Barbie Doll United U23's Doni Pires got control of the ball when Pandapotan Sinuhaji tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Penang Island's Anwar Ibrahimović slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Doni Pires. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Geovânio da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bento Sarwanto struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Doni Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penang Island. Yan Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Barbie Doll United U23's Jarbas Martins got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Barbie Doll United U23's Doni Pires got control of the ball when Pandapotan Sinuhaji tried to sneak it across the goal line. Doni Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anwar Ibrahimović in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pandapotan Sinuhaji got free with Doni Pires in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Barbie Doll United U23's Yan Amaral got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pandapotan Sinuhaji to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Penang Island's Pandapotan Sinuhaji nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doni Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Geovânio da Cunha could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Bulsky Pane however easily saved by the left post. In the 64th minute Anwar Ibrahimović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Barbie Doll United U23 got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Senna. A collision led to Barbie Doll United U23 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Edgard Senna hit a great ball. Barbie Doll United U23's Doni Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anwar Ibrahimović in the 71st minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Anwar Ibrahimović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbie Doll United U23's Doni Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Doni Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pandapotan Sinuhaji, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doni Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anwar Ibrahimović in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Barbie Doll United U23 got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Arce. Penang Island's Bento Sarwanto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barbie Doll United U23. Barbie Doll United U23's Doni Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anwar Ibrahimović in the 85th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Barbie Doll United U23's goal looked a bit too open when Anwar Ibrahimović came free, but Doni Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Penang Island had played much better football throughout.
