Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Schmidt in the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ampthill FC's zone, Válbson Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Seaman came out of the goal and Válbson Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Lamine Xande left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Joinville - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 11 played minutes Ampthill FC got a freekick which was hit by Garry Aspinall. Xande Musiala took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Seaman. David Seaman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 14 minutes, Chiquinho de Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Joinville - FSCMZ and the Ampthill FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Emerson Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conal Knight-Percival. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Correia in the 19th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Sidney de Queirós made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ampthill FC's David Seaman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lamine Xande might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Seaman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lamine Xande ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney de Queirós came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Lamine Xande made a precise shot to the right of David Seaman. Ampthill FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 36 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Schmidt came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lamine Xande in the 38th minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Viana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Joinville - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ampthill FC the free kick. After 41 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Viana. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lamine Xande to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lamine Xande got free with David Seaman in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Schmidt in the 51st minute of the match. David Seaman came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lamine Xande. But to his dismay, Lamine Xande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Válbson Schmidt got free with David Seaman in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamine Xande, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Sidney de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Robinho de Souza replaced Sidney de Queirós. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Guilherme Tavares was substituted for Emílio Martins. In the 66th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Lamine Xande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válbson Schmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but David Seaman made a huge save. In the 74th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Viana to maneuver through the defense. Roger Platt hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lamine Xande came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garry Aspinall kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ampthill FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lamine Xande 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho de Souza in the 92nd minute of the match. New Joinville - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
