Casimiro Vermudo came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarmiento de Resistencia's Cesar Lekubegi. But to his dismay, Cesar Lekubegi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Cesar Lekubegi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Monky FC's Casimiro Vermudo. Casimiro Vermudo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Monky FC's Lorenzo Rumaldo got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Braulio Ourente shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casimiro Vermudo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bartolo Nafarroa's late challenge caught a Sarmiento de Resistencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Nafarroa helped the player get up and apologised. Bartolo Nafarroa kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Filomeno Tirso got a free kick in the 41st minute. 47 minutes into the match, Cesar Lekubegi notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Monky FC's Casimiro Vermudo. Casimiro Vermudo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Ciceron was the one to do the kick off. Casimiro Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Ciceron in the 58th minute of the match. Simon Criston hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Casimiro Vermudo made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Cesar Lekubegi sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Cesar Lekubegi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casimiro Vermudo. Casimiro Vermudo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Monky FC's Hector Goi got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Cesar Lekubegi pulled a muscle in his leg after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Hector Goi charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Goi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sarmiento de Resistencia made a substitution. Albano Luzaide replaced Cesar Lekubegi. Hector Goi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Monky FC's zone, Braulio Ourente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Vermudo came out of the goal and Braulio Ourente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Sarmiento de Resistencia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sarmiento de Resistencia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
