Izydor Birkenhagen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Izydor Birkenhagen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Dulka, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Emil Merski's late challenge caught a LKS Wasik Lidzbark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The LKS Wasik Lidzbark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Yara Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wit Dombrowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
Korneliusz Rakoski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofil Kolbert having to interfere. Waclaw Gondek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Teofil Kolbert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Ziemowit Pieknik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofil Kolbert. LKS Wasik Lidzbark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ziemowit Pieknik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 73 played minutes LKS Wasik Lidzbark got a freekick which was hit by Filip Bryk. Waclaw Gondek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Teofil Kolbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waclaw Gondek in the 89th minute of the match. Alfred Ochabski hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Teofil Kolbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Merski, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Waclaw Gondek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yara Poland's supporters rose to their feet, but Waclaw Gondek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofil Kolbert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The LKS Wasik Lidzbark supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LKS Wasik Lidzbark would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
