An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Marine in the 13th minute of play forced En avant de guingamp's goalkeeper Pierre-Henri Oudard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Maelgwn Le Meur could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Eugenio Garray however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, West Town SC's Javier Afonte got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute, Maelgwn Le Meur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The En avant de guingamp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 24th match minute, En avant de guingamp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Sébastien Manin to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Xian Olmedilla made a precise shot to the right of Pierre-Henri Oudard. En avant de guingamp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. En avant de guingamp's Pierre-Henri Oudard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xian Olmedilla in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the En avant de guingamp defense, Xian Olmedilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierre-Henri Oudard. The En avant de guingamp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierre-Henri Oudard should have stopped the shot. Pierre-Henri Oudard came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by West Town SC's Xian Olmedilla. But to his dismay, Xian Olmedilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Pierre-Henri Oudard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xian Olmedilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. En avant de guingamp's Pierre-Henri Oudard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Marine in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maelgwn Le Meur to make the kick off. Eugenio Garray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maelgwn Le Meur in the 53rd minute of play. When Fabio Arrillaga came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the West Town SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Arrillaga couldn't finish the play. The supporters of En avant de guingamp booed when West Town SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Weather Movellan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind West Town SC's goalkeeper Eugenio Garray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Malcom Gauvrit fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored En avant de guingamp's protests and gave Malcom Gauvrit a yellow card for diving instead. Malcom Gauvrit kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. En avant de guingamp's Patrice Costes got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Maelgwn Le Meur notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of West Town SC's Eugenio Garray. Eugenio Garray was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute of the match, Fabio Arrillaga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pierre-Henri Oudard was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 81 minutes into the match, En avant de guingamp's goalkeeper Pierre-Henri Oudard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Marine. 90 minutes into the match, West Town SC's goal looked a bit too open when Maelgwn Le Meur came free, but Eugenio Garray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. En avant de guingamp's Pierre-Henri Oudard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save En avant de guingamp from getting a goal against them. Pierre-Henri Oudard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Marine in the 95th minute of the match. West Town SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
