The supporters of Papillon AC booed when FALCÕES VERDES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Papillon AC's Simon Osasun got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Augusto Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th match minute, Papillon AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Niva to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Bikendi hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Castro in the 17th minute of play forced Papillon AC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Isaltino Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Herrera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th minute FALCÕES VERDES were awarded a corner. Clóvis Marinho went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Valdo Soeiro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano got control of the ball when Gonzalo Haritzeder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dudu Bueno's late challenge caught a Papillon AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dudu Bueno helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36thth minute of the game Augusto Criston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dudu Bueno took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Herrera. Rodolfo Herrera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Segundo Pere kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Dalmo Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Osasun, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Criston stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Papillon AC's Augusto Criston got a free kick in the 63rd minute. During the 64th minute of the match Dudu Bueno completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dudu Bueno a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dudu Bueno hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Simon Osasun scored 1-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Sergipano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dalmo Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes FALCÕES VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Marinho.
