Sílvio Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porumbescu Xanthopoulos in the 13th minute of play. Sílvio Zonta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Porumbescu Xanthopoulos's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Jano Motta hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Jairo Machado put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sílvio Zonta. Los Hermanos CIMZ's Oscar Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Motta in the 27th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalkeeper Oscar Saraiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdir Peres. After 36 played minutes Los Hermanos CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Veloso. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Soares got free with Oscar Saraiva in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Valério Rosado fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Hermanos CIMZ's protests and gave Valério Rosado a yellow card for diving instead. 42 minutes into the game, one of Los Hermanos CIMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Valdir Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Oscar Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Porumbescu Xanthopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta got control of the ball when Jairo Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save TAQUARI FC from getting a goal against them. Oscar Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Freitas's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Jairo Machado scored 1-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Zonta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sílvio Zonta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Machado in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Los Hermanos CIMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
