Sakarias Ahlroth kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match Agustin Canobbio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henry Anselius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jesus Carriedo made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Elivareo Monta. After 14 played minutes Wolverhampton got a freekick which was hit by Erling Sigman. Henry Anselius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustin Canobbio went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Wolverhampton defense, Estefan Villaseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Anselius. The Wolverhampton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Anselius should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Wolverhampton's goalkeeper Henry Anselius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Guilizasti. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Damm in the 24th minute of play forced C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Bartoli Navagos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Onofre Masas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Bartoli Navagos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Odin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elivareo Monta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute of the match, Anton Guilizasti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henry Anselius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 31 played minutes C.S.D Punta Ballena got a freekick which was hit by Piearres Samperio. After recieving a nice pass, Wolverhampton's Bernt Lindblom tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Wolverhampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erling Sigman to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, C.S.D Punta Ballena's goal looked a bit too open when John Damm came free, but Bartoli Navagos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolverhampton's Erling Sigman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jesus Carriedo, made in the 38th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the game, Sakarias Ahlroth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bartoli Navagos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Guilizasti to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Canobbio in the 54th minute of play forced Wolverhampton's goalkeeper Henry Anselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Jesus Carriedo in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wolverhampton's Erling Sigman. Jesus Carriedo made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Wolverhampton's Nils Asklöv. In the 60th minute, John Damm reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bartoli Navagos. The goal made the score 2-2. Anton Guilizasti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Anselius having to make a save. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Hector Aragones was substituted for Leo Busvidad. Henry Anselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Canobbio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Bartoli Navagos made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Sakarias Ahlroth sent off a good shot on target. After 77 played minutes Wolverhampton got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Arenius. Baudelio Valls's late challenge caught a Wolverhampton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baudelio Valls helped the player get up and apologised. Baudelio Valls hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Agustin Canobbio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Anselius was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. The throw-in from Jesus Carriedo in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Wolverhampton's Nils Asklöv. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C.S.D Punta Ballena had played much better football throughout.
