After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Temperley's zone, Bob Bilham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Pasqual came out of the goal and Bob Bilham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. German Ekaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Gary Niven recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Froilan Pasqual. Gary Niven showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Froilan Pasqual took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gary Niven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barney Haxby hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Rio Linkletter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leicester Lions and the Club Atlético Temperley players grew even worse after the yellow card. 32 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Todor came free, but Robbie Metcalf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Temperley's goalkeeper Froilan Pasqual, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. German Ekaitz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Todor was the one to do the kick off. Gary Niven hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Temperley's German Ekaitz got a free kick in the 54th minute. Robbie Metcalf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Ekaitz in the 57th minute of play. Froilan Pasqual didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bob Bilham went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the game, Gwyn Radcliffe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Froilan Pasqual was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Duncan Lawless got a free kick in the 77th minute. Froilan Pasqual showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gary Niven, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Bob Bilham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Pasqual took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwyn Radcliffe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gwyn Radcliffe kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If German Ekaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
