Cuatrodeocho's Quinito Cifuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Prestes in the 20th minute of play. Teodoro Prestes scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quinito Cifuentes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Zubiaga in the 29th minute of play forced Sporting Uai MzC™'s goalkeeper Váldson Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quinito Cifuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Teodoro Prestes made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Cuatrodeocho got a freekick which was hit by Felipo Quiroga. When Luiz Paulo Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Sporting Uai MzC™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo Camargo couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the game, Oscar Goiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Quinito Cifuentes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, Luis Aragones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Luiz Paulo Camargo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cuatrodeocho's Quinito Cifuentes didn't even have to move. In the 70th minute, Cuatrodeocho's Felipo Quiroga seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felipo Quiroga the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cuatrodeocho protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felipo Quiroga had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Felipo Quiroga hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Luiz Paulo Camargo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Álvaro Sá was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luis Aragones's late challenge caught a Sporting Uai MzC™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Aragones helped the player get up and apologised. Oscar Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinito Cifuentes having to interfere. If Madeo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The Sporting Uai MzC™ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
