The White Star Troopers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Domeracki should have stopped the shot. Sylwester Luty's late challenge caught a Bears are Back's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylwester Luty helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bears are Back booed when White Star Troopers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylwester Luty didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes, Ziemowit Budrewicz made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bears are Back's Hieronim Wojton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 minutes of play, Bears are Back's Piotr Walkowski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerzy Domeracki was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Pliszka in the 34th minute of play forced White Star Troopers's goalkeeper Jerzy Domeracki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the White Star Troopers defense, Piotr Walkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Domeracki. The White Star Troopers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Domeracki should have stopped the shot. Tolek Gredal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tolek Gredal came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hieronim Wojton could save by the left post. Tolek Gredal scored 2-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hieronim Wojton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Piotr Walkowski to make the kick off. Walery Biskupiak hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Daniel Mentis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hieronim Wojton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Edgar Fleischer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bears are Back and the White Star Troopers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to White Star Troopers getting a freekick after 67 minutes play.
