Steffen Mühlfort charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steffen Mühlfort the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, Steffen Mühlfort hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Musser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Bozzo's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Nicolas Musser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Bozzo in the 7th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Unterrudling's Nicolas Musser got control of the ball when Eugenio Bozzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alessandro Verdecchia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philipp Kruck, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Hannes Pöck fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Unterrudling's protests and gave Hannes Pöck a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolas Musser made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Giorgio in the 32nd minute. Alex Gehring kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Eugenio Bozzo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 35 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Nicolas Musser right hand side. The supporters of Santoryu FC booed when FC Unterrudling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Pöck didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Filippo Gerosa in the 37th minute really tested Nicolas Musser's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Unterrudling's zone, Anselmo Gabriele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Musser came out of the goal and Anselmo Gabriele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Nicolas Musser managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Santoryu FC's Eugenio Bozzo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 46th minute Steffen Mühlfort shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Verdecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steffen Mühlfort to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Alvise Iacobucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santoryu FC and the FC Unterrudling players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Alvise Iacobucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Forlano hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Santoryu FC's Alessandro Verdecchia got control of the ball when Heinz-Dieter Degner tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute Eugenio Bozzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Musser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Verdecchia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philipp Kruck in the 64th minute. Nicolas Musser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Iacobucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Verdecchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Kruck in the 69th minute of play. Philipp Kruck hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When Filippo Gerosa fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santoryu FC's protests and gave Filippo Gerosa a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Santoryu FC got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Gerosa. Alessandro Verdecchia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philipp Kruck went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Unterrudling's Dominic-Simon Nikolic slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alessandro Verdecchia. That made the score 0-2 after 82 minutes of play. In the 86th minute, Dario Giorgio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th play minute Steffen Mühlfort came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alessandro Verdecchia. 0-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Santoryu FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
