Dragan Mangezov took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Gurgui. Bogdan Gurgui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vute Baliev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Plopșor in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Dragan Mangezov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogdan Gurgui. F.C.BARLAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dragan Mangezov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 18th match minute, F.C.BARLAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Vârlan to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Gonzo Ivanov notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of F.C.BARLAD's Bogdan Gurgui. Bogdan Gurgui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentin Plopșor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Vute Baliev made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iliya Kasabov in the 24th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Bogdan Gurgui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Zahari Kerekov hit a great ball. Valentin Plopșor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Vute Baliev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When DARAS's Gonzo Ivanov in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C.BARLAD's goalie prevented a goal. Vute Baliev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Plopșor in the 29th minute. F.C.BARLAD's Bogdan Gurgui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzo Ivanov in the 41st minute of play. Ferdinand Simionescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vute Baliev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Simionescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzo Ivanov to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to F.C.BARLAD getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rareș Vârlan hit a great ball. Bogdan Gurgui made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Gonzo Ivanov sent off a good shot on target. After 65 minutes, Gonzo Ivanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DARAS and the F.C.BARLAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gonzo Ivanov hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Iliya Kasabov scored 1-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Gurgui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. DARAS's Paolo Rossi was substituted for Iliya Kasabov. Bogdan Gurgui was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paolo Rossi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 77 minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, F.C.BARLAD's Valentin Plopșor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vute Baliev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. 84 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzo Ivanov came free, but Bogdan Gurgui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Gurgui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nano Mitrashkov in the 87th minute of the match. Bogdan Gurgui made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Paolo Rossi sent off a good shot on target. Gonzo Ivanov kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
