The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olavo Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Eneko, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Fermin Garaile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kauã Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Joinville S.German-FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Tróia couldn't finish the play. Fermin Garaile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado de Salles in the 11th minute of the match. Ernesto Neiva struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Fermin Garaile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joinville S.German-FSCMZ. Paolo Gombal took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olavo Linares. Olavo Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Tróia in the 21st minute of play forced Asesinos Por Naturaleza's goalkeeper Fermin Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Kauã Tróia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Fermin Garaile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kauã Tróia in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado de Salles came free, but Fermin Garaile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Ulisses de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Kauã Tróia scored to the left of an out of position Fermin Garaile, making the score, 3-1. Fermin Garaile was a little too slow when Isaltino Barral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 4-1. Godfredo Nataniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado de Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fermin Garaile read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauã Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. Ivan Eneko kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Robustiano Estebe got a free kick in the 55th minute. Kauã Tróia took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fermin Garaile. Fermin Garaile dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After a rather tough play, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Fabrício Aparecido got a free kick in the 60th minute. Asesinos Por Naturaleza were furious when Robustiano Estebe was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Robustiano Estebe hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ made a substitution. Tales Dante replaced Raimundo Donato. The supporters of Joinville S.German-FSCMZ booed when Asesinos Por Naturaleza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Estebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Ernesto Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Garaile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Kauã Tróia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Fermin Garaile was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kauã Tróia scored 7-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermin Garaile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Kauã Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fermin Garaile was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Tróia in the 90th minute of play forced Asesinos Por Naturaleza's goalkeeper Fermin Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fermin Garaile came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Giovani Simão. But to his dismay, Giovani Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. There was no doubt that Joinville S.German-FSCMZ were the better team. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
