Evlogi Lukanov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Evlogi Lukanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Giöck in the 18th minute of play. If Ivan Ganchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Wahlnäs in the 24th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Evlogi Lukanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dick Strandberg made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Sokol Solakov sent off a good shot on target. Dick Strandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasko Haralampiev in the 56th minute of the match. Dick Strandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galin Metzov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sokol Solakov came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Lokomotiv Plovdiv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sokol Solakov couldn't finish the play. Nytäppet Fc's Boris Hermansson was substituted for Frank Wahlnäs. Evlogi Lukanov was a little too slow when Boris Hermansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 3-2. In the 71stth minute of the game Sokol Solakov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nytäppet Fc's Dick Strandberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Nytäppet Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Sokol Solakov came free, but Dick Strandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nytäppet Fc's Per Anundsson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Zhivko Chaushev kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match.
