With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Larios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pablo Larios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jailson Batista's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when The Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Iratzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Rick Cabezon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Larios. The Old Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rick Cabezon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ambrosio Jerardo charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Jerardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pablo Larios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Cabezon in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, The Old Boys's Teodosio Telmo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 53 minutes, Manuel Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcellos Mineiro FC and the The Old Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Antunes to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Batista came free, but Pablo Larios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Old Boys's Pablo Larios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Guerra in the 65th minute of play. Rick Cabezon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pablo Larios came out and tried to block the shot, but Rick Cabezon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, Uriel Fero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Fero in the 91st minute of the match. Barcellos Mineiro FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
