The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Feyenoord Malinovo booed when União Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Laércio Damião came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the União Verde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laércio Damião couldn't finish the play. After 29 minutes of play, União Verde FC's Laércio Damião made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbert Hvorecký was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Válbson Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bebeto de Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladislav Černý in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goalkeeper Bebeto de Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Novosedlík. Róbert Hvorecký showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Guia in the 41st minute of the match. Martin Novosedlík had several of the União Verde FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Bebeto de Salles as he didn't even see the shot coming. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laércio Damião to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ademir Guia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Martin Novosedlík managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feyenoord Malinovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Novosedlík was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto de Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind União Verde FC's goalkeeper Bebeto de Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to União Verde FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Laércio Damião hit a great ball. Ademir Guia charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ademir Guia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes União Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Mendonça. After a defensive mix-up in União Verde FC's zone, Vladislav Černý stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto de Salles came out of the goal and Vladislav Černý tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Feyenoord Malinovo had won after a very even match.
