After 16 played minutes Clube Audax Metropolitano got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Calderona. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldinho Andrade during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Ronaldinho Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Linus Landin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josef Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Calderona in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Calderona in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josef Österlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Preator Edikt's Mathias Mellin suffered a sore foot after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Alix Vance fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Audax Metropolitano's protests and gave Alix Vance a yellow card for diving instead. Preator Edikt made a substitution. Adam Kihlman replaced Mathias Mellin. Alix Vance kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Nils-Emil Fagrell kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Olof Östman hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A collision led to Preator Edikt getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nils-Emil Fagrell hit a great ball. The supporters of Clube Audax Metropolitano booed when Preator Edikt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Landin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Preator Edikt getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Kim Larsfelt hit a great ball. After 55 minutes, Fellipe Bueno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Audax Metropolitano and the Preator Edikt players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Fellipe Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Preator Edikt made a substitution. Isak Ambjörnsson replaced Linus Landin. In the 57th match minute, Clube Audax Metropolitano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Bueno to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Ambjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Fernando Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Ambjörnsson in the 60th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Isak Ambjörnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fernando Donatello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Preator Edikt were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Clube Audax Metropolitano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hubert Fernström took the corner. The corner led Preator Edikt's Hubert Fernström to fire away a dangerous shot which Fernando Donatello despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80th minute, Hugo Calderona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Audax Metropolitano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Carlos Alberto Parreira kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Clube Audax Metropolitano were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
