When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Zigmantas Gimbutas put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gonsalve Flores. In the 19th minute Quintino Carvalhais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonsalve Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 20th minute of play forced U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Gonsalve Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to U.D. Mancini getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Agustín Pedrosa hit a great ball. Quintino Carvalhais kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Gonsalve Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintino Carvalhais in the 35th minute of the match. The wind increased when Bozhil Vaptzarov made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Pedrosa came free, but Antonio Adán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 minutes of play, SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With his leg Gonsalve Flores managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when SC Braga's Quintino Carvalhais fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. U.D. Mancini's Gonsalve Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintino Carvalhais in the 78th minute of play. Bozhil Vaptzarov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Adán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute, Alberto Malheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Gonsalve Flores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geraldo Lucas. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Braga eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
