Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Han Fan Hong in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Han Fan Hong came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joel Botvidsson fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glemmingebro IF's protests and gave Joel Botvidsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Squadra Demarchi booed when Glemmingebro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Botvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Han Fan Hong in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Saldanha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Han Fan Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Han Fan Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nilson Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Joel Botvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Han Fan Hong's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Oscar Saldanha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Oscar Saldanha managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Glemmingebro IF's Han Fan Hong fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rafael Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Stanny Stopa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Squadra Demarchi booed when Glemmingebro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lavern Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanny Stopa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Glemmingebro IF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Joel Botvidsson hit a great ball. With a little luck, Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha got control of the ball when Han Fan Hong tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 minutes Squadra Demarchi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Botvidsson who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Joel Botvidsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Glemmingebro IF's Han Fan Hong slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oscar Saldanha. That made the score 2-0 after 47 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Han Fan Hong to make the kick off. Nilson Corrêa made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rafael Mota however managed to control. In the 54th minute, Joel Botvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Nilson Corrêa with Rafael Mota as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 61st match minute, Squadra Demarchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Vidal to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Han Fan Hong came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Corrêa. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra Demarchi's zone, Han Fan Hong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal and Han Fan Hong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kléber Queirós hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Sjöström in the 72nd minute of play. Oscar Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Han Fan Hong went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Glemmingebro IF made a substitution. Mark Vallin replaced Han Fan Hong. After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Sérgio Batista got a free kick in the 84th minute. Glemmingebro IF made a substitution. Kent Gunnarsson replaced Maciej Haskiewicz. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Vallin in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Glemmingebro IF were awarded a corner. Joel Botvidsson went to the cornerflag to take it. Karl-Erik Bergqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Glemmingebro IF fully deserved thier win.
