Spectators: 196 (Terracing: 148, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 12 minutes into the match, Pezerik's goalkeeper Shota Stopa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Gallegos. After 15 minutes of play, Pezerik's Geoffry Lefevre made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, Miguel Gallegos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Shota Stopa. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 23rd minute of the match, Herminio Florinio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Shota Stopa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pezerik's Shota Stopa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Diniz in the 23rd minute of play. After 26 played minutes Club Deportivo Águila got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Gomez. In the 27th minute of the match Jelle Temmerman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Guimarães showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavian Rutgeerts in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute, Paul Geeraerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dário Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Shota Stopa made a huge save. Shota Stopa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Gallegos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Koppens in the 42nd minute of play forced Pezerik's goalkeeper Shota Stopa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Sylvan Tombeurs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Club Deportivo Águila booed when Pezerik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Geeraerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Herminio Florinio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute Dário Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shota Stopa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Gustavo Guimarães successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Octavian Rutgeerts kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Gustavo Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffry Lefevre, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Viscarra in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shota Stopa saved Pezerik from getting behind. In the 78th match minute, Club Deportivo Águila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Reyes to maneuver through the defense. Pezerik's Shota Stopa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Koppens in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Paul Geeraerts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 87th minute Ricky Koppens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shota Stopa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Manuel Reyes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Águila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pezerik the free kick. Manuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Águila's zone, Jelle Temmerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Guimarães came out of the goal and Jelle Temmerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shota Stopa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pezerik players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
