Atlético Letal's Giancarlo Furlan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Murilo Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Senna in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Atlético Letal's goalkeeper Murilo Paredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Senna. After 11 minutes of play, Atlético Letal's Pong Kula made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germano Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the game, Bieito Cubas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Germano Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Murilo de Almeida in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atlético Letal's Marco Queirós. Bieito Cubas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mundial EC booed when Atlético Letal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dursun Ali Mehmet didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Atlético Letal's Pong Kula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Germano Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Senna in the 33rd minute of play forced Atlético Letal's goalkeeper Murilo Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mundial EC defense, Pong Kula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germano Moraes. The Mundial EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germano Moraes should have stopped the shot. After having played for 43 minutes, Pong Kula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Letal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pong Kula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Mundial EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Letal were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik de Alcântara in the 54th minute of play forced Atlético Letal's goalkeeper Murilo Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germano Moraes was a little too slow when Tomás Goren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-4. Germano Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bieito Cubas in the 66th minute of play. Atlético Letal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Cruz in the 67th minute. After 70 minutes Mundial EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Cruz who took care of the corner kick. 71 minutes into the match, Mundial EC's goalkeeper Germano Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Goren. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Goren got free with Germano Moraes in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute Atlético Letal were awarded a corner. André Cruz went to the cornerflag to take it. 76 minutes into the game, Tomás Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mundial EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Letal the free kick. Tomás Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Tomás Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mundial EC's Germano Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Mundial EC from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Tomás Goren sped through Mundial EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Germano Moraes. Murilo Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th match minute, Atlético Letal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Sena to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Letal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
