Angelo Peruzzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 17th minute Luís Fabiano Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Stam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Dortmund MZB from getting a goal against them. René Stam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Pernambucano in the 23rd minute of play. René Stam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Pernambucano in the 23rd minute of the match. Las Palmas's René Stam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Blasi in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi got control of the ball when Cayetano Esdras tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peker Kazak in the 28th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. René Stam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Blasi in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute Luís Fabiano Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Stam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. René Stam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Blasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Peruzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peker Kazak, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Peker Kazak notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi. Angelo Peruzzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Candido Panfilo in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Borussia Dortmund MZB's Guga Capixaba. 42 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Pernambucano came free, but René Stam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Gernando Pernambucano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. René Stam was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Angelo Peruzzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 秦西星 in the 50th minute of play. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peker Kazak in the 52nd minute of play. Luis Blasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but René Stam made a huge save. Angelo Peruzzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peker Kazak's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Peker Kazak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Angelo Peruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 秦西星 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Victoriano Honrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 played minutes Las Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Honrio. René Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Koehler in the 70th minute of play forced Las Palmas's goalkeeper René Stam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darío Graabirk in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Cholewa in the 75th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. René Stam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Palmeira in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Luis Blasi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind René Stam. René Stam yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Peker Kazak scored 3-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Peruzzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Luís Fabiano Leão made a precise shot to the right of René Stam. Las Palmas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. After 90 minutes of play, Las Palmas's Darío Graabirk made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Peruzzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Las Palmas's René Stam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Leão in the 95th minute of play. Las Palmas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Borussia Dortmund MZB for a fine match.
