The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Żurawski came free, but Reynaldo Cestarolli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Cestarolli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maciej Żurawski's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galo na Veia FC™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cestarolli FC the free kick. Horácio Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Cestarolli FC's Reynaldo Cestarolli got control of the ball when Maciej Żurawski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute Abdelbassir Cestarolli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Cestarolli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavinho Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Galo na Veia FC™'s Flavinho Rosado fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, Maciej Żurawski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Cestarolli. Cestarolli FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maciej Żurawski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Horácio Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th minute of the match Cestarolli FC got a corner. Galo na Veia FC™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jefferson de Mendonça ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ruy Mello heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdelbassir Cestarolli to make the kick off. Ronaldão Félix made in the 50th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Maciej Żurawski however managed to control. 52 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Żurawski came free, but Reynaldo Cestarolli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Abdelbassir Cestarolli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Maciej Żurawski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Cestarolli was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Cestarolli FC defense, Maciej Żurawski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Cestarolli. The Cestarolli FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Cestarolli should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Horácio Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruy Mello. Abdelbassir Cestarolli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Horácio Donato made a huge save. In the 73rd minute Maciej Żurawski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Cestarolli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galo na Veia FC™ were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Cestarolli FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Umberto Moreno took the corner. 77 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Żurawski came free, but Reynaldo Cestarolli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horácio Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Galo na Veia FC™'s Horácio Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 83rd minute of play. Horácio Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 89 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Stamen Ringov. Cestarolli FC's Jefferson de Mendonça shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Horácio Donato but with some difficulty.
