Gilbert Bonsaint's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilano Cordarrel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Lucio Libertad hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilbert Bonsaint in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Cordarrel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd match minute, CLAYMORE COUNTRY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Lindell to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Lucio Libertad tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Azevedo in the 38th minute of play forced ATLETICO TOSODELMA's goalkeeper Atilano Cordarrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the ATLETICO TOSODELMA defense, Anísio Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilano Cordarrel. The ATLETICO TOSODELMA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilano Cordarrel should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Bonsaint's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilano Cordarrel was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.
