Zarando Eguizabal ran back to his position shaking his head. Elar Quero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paredes Campderros in the 33rd minute of play. Apolo Montero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astillero del Guayas's Ruperto Ufret got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paredes Campderros to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Dani Galiana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elar Quero. Mandrake fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dani Galiana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Astillero del Guayas's Paredes Campderros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elar Quero. That made the score 0-5 after 82 minutes of play. Pelayo Segura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Long Yuan De having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelayo Segura in the 85th minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Long Yuan De to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes Mandrake fc got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Naranjo.
