The supporters of Glentown FC booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Budzyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. The goalkeeper, Callum Barratt, was totally fooled by Glentown FC's Tom Hasselqvist, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Glentown FC's Emanuel Svanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Masters in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Wadham in the 24th minute of play forced Glentown FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Svanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Mike Wadham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leicester Lions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glentown FC the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Wadham to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Ahlkvist in the 34th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Callum Barratt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patryk Plučinský during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 39 minutes into the game, one of Leicester Lions:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Glentown FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Hasselqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Ahlkvist was the one to do the kick off. Ralph Masters scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Svanström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Tobias Ahlkvist fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glentown FC's protests and gave Tobias Ahlkvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Glentown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Ahlkvist to maneuver through the defense. Callum Barratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Ahlkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glentown FC's Tobias Ahlkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Ahlkvist came free, but Callum Barratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Callum Barratt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Ahlkvist went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Callum Barratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Ahlkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Tobias Ahlkvist made a precise shot to the right of Callum Barratt. Leicester Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1.
