In the 4th minute Espirillo FC were awarded a corner. Daniel Diagur went to the cornerflag to take it. Tøger Sporring thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Arne Heeris, a very annoying self made goal in the 4th minute which led to 0-1. Daniel Diagur took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Heeris. Arne Heeris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Arne Heeris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The corner led Espirillo FC's Daniel Diagur to fire away a dangerous shot which Arne Heeris despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Svetlozar Vúlov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espirillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Svetlozar Vúlov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Heeris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sletteenge's Arne Heeris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Corderun in the 21st minute of play. Arne Heeris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetlozar Vúlov, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Espirillo FC got a corner. Sletteenge's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Diagur ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Espirillo FC's corner Daniel Diagur fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arne Heeris quite easily take care of the ball. In the 29th minute Godtfred Friisbøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Kelemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sletteenge were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Espirillo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gregorius Kytter took the corner. The corner ended in Gregorius Kytter almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Espirillo FC's Nestor Kelemen did a great save. 33 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Nestor Kelemen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godtfred Friisbøl. When Detlef Cornwall fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sletteenge's protests and gave Detlef Cornwall a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Detlef Cornwall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Heeris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetlozar Vúlov in the 35th minute of play. David Corderun kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sletteenge defense, David Corderun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Heeris. The Sletteenge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Heeris should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Espirillo FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gualterio Luar hit a great ball. Sletteenge's Arne Heeris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Diagur in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Nestor Kelemen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valther Fønsskov. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 76th minute Volmer Frimand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Kelemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svetlozar Vúlov got free with Arne Heeris in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Absalon Domini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After 94 minutes, Tøger Sporring mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sletteenge and the Espirillo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 93 minutes into the game, one of Sletteenge:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
