Balus Treter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JUNICO Ełk the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Balus Treter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Wildemann to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as JUNICO Ełk's Harri Kaine slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matthias Merk. That made the score 4-0 after 16 minutes of play. Matthias Merk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harri Kaine in the 18th minute. After 21 minutes of play Balus Treter's Ekpenyong Vogler was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Balus Treter getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ekpenyong Vogler hit a great ball. Balus Treter's Matthias Merk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harri Kaine in the 26th minute of play. Matthias Merk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harri Kaine in the 27th minute. Matthias Merk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harri Kaine went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Matthias Merk made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Harri Kaine sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, JUNICO Ełk's Harri Kaine sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matthias Merk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. JUNICO Ełk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Radomir Zieba in the 37th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harri Kaine was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Harri Kaine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The supporters of JUNICO Ełk booed when Balus Treter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulus Schommer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Balus Treter's Paulus Schommer got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Rikard Træden came free, but Matthias Merk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. JUNICO Ełk's Konstanty Kilarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save JUNICO Ełk from getting a goal against them. If Franek Sowa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthias Merk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikard Træden in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Balus Treter's Gerd Schlüter got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Træden in the 81st minute of play forced Balus Treter's goalkeeper Matthias Merk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rikard Træden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Balus Treter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthias Merk should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Balus Treter's Kornelius Wewers seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kornelius Wewers the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Balus Treter protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kornelius Wewers had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Balus Treter! In the 97th minute there was a penalty for JUNICO Ełk. Rikard Træden stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Matthias Merk. 15-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. JUNICO Ełk had played much better football throughout.
