Dragoş Cordescu charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Adalberto Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Bâru having to interfere. Nicolas Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Bulgar, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Bulgar came free, but Nicolas Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Cristian Chivu got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Filip Bâru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chicão Matos. 34 minutes into the match, Șerban Rusu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Nicolas Cardozo. Nicolas Cardozo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chicão Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Filip Bâru made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Filip Bâru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chicão Matos. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Adalberto Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Vianna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Bâru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calistrat Potopea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Cardozo made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Gigel Bulgar sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd minute Falcão Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Bâru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Marques came free, but Filip Bâru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Rafinha Sergipano got a free kick in the 64th minute. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dragoş Cordescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicolas Cardozo but with some difficulty. Filip Bâru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Filip Bâru came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adalberto Vianna. But to his dismay, Adalberto Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Filip Bâru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute F.C CLUJ MEDICINA were awarded a corner. Dragoş Cordescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dragoş Cordescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolas Cardozo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Calistrat Potopea came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calistrat Potopea couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
