Brazilio Tasso struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Anter Barroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasso FC. Avram Pârvan might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Monte Lobato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Avram Pârvan ran back to his position shaking his head. Avram Tudor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Monte Lobato. Tasso FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Monte Lobato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Pârvan in the 26th minute of the match. Academia Rio's Anter Barroso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Rio from getting a goal against them. Waldir Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Avram Pârvan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Avram Pârvan came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Monte Lobato could save by the left post. Monte Lobato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Pârvan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tasso FC's attentive Caio Mendes managed to snatch the ball when Nicolae Hizo made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. Waldir Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monte Lobato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Pârvan in the 65th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Academia Rio's Avram Pârvan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monte Lobato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 68 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goalkeeper Monte Lobato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avram Pârvan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Urbano in the 71st minute of play forced Academia Rio's goalkeeper Anter Barroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Waldir Urbano notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Academia Rio's Anter Barroso. Anter Barroso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Academia Rio's Avram Tudor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Monte Lobato in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Berkin Dilsafa made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Academia Rio's Mihai Oniga. In the 87th match minute, Tasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkin Dilsafa to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Avram Pârvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monte Lobato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Richard Dawkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anter Barroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Academia Rio were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Tasso FC's much stronger midfield.
