Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Genko Balevski kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Faron in the 3rd minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 minutes Caaguazu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernandinho Botelho who took care of the corner kick. Fernandinho Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Conrado Faron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caaguazu's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Faron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Amor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnny Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genko Balevski in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Reyes Barcenilla got a free kick in the 17th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Genko Balevski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genko Balevski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Edmundo Valle came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Valle couldn't finish the play. Johnny Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genko Balevski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arlo Albiz. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Faron in the 40th minute of the match. Hulk Fenomeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Paredes having to interfere. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Caaguazu's Kismi Sierralta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Amor. Melquiades Amor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Faron was the one to do the kick off. Johnny Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genko Balevski in the 51st minute of play. Kismi Sierralta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Amor having to interfere. In the 57th minute of the match, Genko Balevski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johnny Paredes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59th minute CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA were awarded a corner. Fernandinho Botelho went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Wágner Breckenfeld getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Genko Balevski took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnny Paredes. Johnny Paredes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Hulk Fenomeno hit a great ball. Nando Cando's late challenge caught a CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nando Cando helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Caaguazu getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Nando Cando hit a great ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Genko Balevski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genko Balevski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnny Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genko Balevski in the 79th minute of play. Genko Balevski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Johnny Paredes made a huge save. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caaguazu's goalkeeper Johnny Paredes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Edmundo Valle clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Mauro Bocaran got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genko Balevski in the 86th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Johnny Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Hulk Fenomeno in the 92nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Johnny Paredes was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Caaguazu through an amazing save. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caaguazu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernandinho Botelho was slow to take the kick. During this time CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's players had a chance to rest. Caaguazu's Johnny Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Caaguazu from getting a goal against them. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
