After some careless play in the Cardo Ruso Cordobés defense, Loco Durazno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Falcioni. The Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Falcioni should have stopped the shot. In the 45th match minute, Cardo Ruso Cordobés was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franky Dhondt to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
