Sun Yuan Zheng kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Raúl Amuchástegui in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Peli saved La Bichineta from getting behind. In the 13th minute Forever Tango were awarded a corner. Indar Campon went to the cornerflag to take it. Godfried Teunens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Giraldo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfried Teunens in the 22nd minute of play forced Forever Tango's goalkeeper Juan Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfried Teunens in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Forever Tango's goalkeeper Juan Giraldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Castel. Godfried Teunens struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Juan Giraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Bichineta. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Forever Tango's goalkeeper Juan Giraldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvestre Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Bailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Christopher Bailey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Narciso Chap made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Peli. La Bichineta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The La Bichineta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Forever Tango were winning 0-1.

Forever Tango made a substitution. Danilo Montel replaced Narciso Chap. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfried Teunens to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Godfried Teunens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Bichineta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfried Teunens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godfried Teunens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Bichineta's Eliseo Iigo was substituted for Godfried Teunens. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Forever Tango:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Bichineta:s goal. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for La Bichineta. Poncio Justo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Juan Giraldo. 1-1. Forever Tango's Juan Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Iigo in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Eliseo Iigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Bichineta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Iigo in the 84th minute of play forced Forever Tango's goalkeeper Juan Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Iigo in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Giraldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Montel came free, but Silvestre Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cui Zheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Montel in the 94th minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Giraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Castel in the 99th minute of the match. The La Bichineta players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
