After 7 minutes of play, Atlético São Sebastião's Godofredo Cebo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikolaj Jerzyk was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Atlético São Sebastião's zone, Pankracy Malicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qu Feng Bin came out of the goal and Pankracy Malicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Celestino Arnalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qu Feng Bin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Vollmar's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Newcastle United defense, Godofredo Cebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. The Newcastle United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikolaj Jerzyk should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Simões came free, but Mikolaj Jerzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Pankracy Malicki could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Qu Feng Bin however easily saved by the left post. The corner led Atlético São Sebastião's Godofredo Cebo to fire away a dangerous shot which Mikolaj Jerzyk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match, Pankracy Malicki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Qu Feng Bin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pan Zhen Fan in the 36th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikolaj Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Zonta in the 39th minute of play. Pankracy Malicki succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godofredo Cebo to strike the kick off in the second half. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Arnalt in the 53rd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Arnalt came free, but Mikolaj Jerzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Thomas Vollmar notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Atlético São Sebastião's Qu Feng Bin. Qu Feng Bin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Newcastle United's Filip Orling was substituted for Julian Obuchowicz. 65 minutes into the game, Newcastle United's Adam Pacholewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Qu Feng Bin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Cebo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikolaj Jerzyk saved Newcastle United from getting behind. Qu Feng Bin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Pacholewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Qu Feng Bin came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastle United's Pankracy Malicki. But to his dismay, Pankracy Malicki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Pan Zhen Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Mikolaj Jerzyk made a huge save. Godofredo Cebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético São Sebastião's goalkeeper Qu Feng Bin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Atlético São Sebastião defense, Adam Pacholewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qu Feng Bin. The Atlético São Sebastião fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qu Feng Bin should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Pankracy Malicki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qu Feng Bin was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Atlético São Sebastião's Qu Feng Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pankracy Malicki in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute of the match, Celestino Arnalt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Celestino Arnalt scored 6-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
