With a little luck, River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero got control of the ball when Agustín Pedrosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mancini getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Henrik Larsson hit a great ball. River CBBA's Ponciano Abarca got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Argoitz Abeijon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonsalve Flores having to make a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bozhil Vaptzarov to make the kick off. Argoitz Abeijon might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonsalve Flores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Argoitz Abeijon ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the game, Bozhil Vaptzarov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U.D. Mancini's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River CBBA the free kick. The supporters of River CBBA booed when U.D. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Pedrosa in the 95th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U.D. Mancini's Gonsalve Flores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save U.D. Mancini from getting a goal against them.
