In the 21st minute, Alifonso Apablaza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Semeno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Leoncio Mala came free, but Constantin Ionaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alifonso Apablaza in the 25th minute of play forced Boedo Athletic.'s goalkeeper Jonas Semeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Andolín Duvauchelle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cobresal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Leoncio Mala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Ionaș having to interfere. Cobresal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
