Spectators: 391 (Terracing: 294, Seating: 90, VIP seats: 7) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Golo Phoenix got the match started through his kick off. Dacian Iurea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nistor Vermeşan went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dacian Iurea came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix. But to his dismay, Golo Phoenix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sebastian Ilieș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Dacian Ghițescu made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Costel Gurgui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Ilieș in the 30th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Dacian Ghițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basarab Arotăriței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when FC Berea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Panțâru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Ghițescu made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Olimpiu Tapalagă sent off a good shot on target. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca were furious when Strong Phoenix was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Strong Phoenix kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Basarab Arotăriței made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Aristide Fetea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dacian Iurea. FC Berea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristide Fetea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 56th minute, Moise Boacă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moise Boacă kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Golo Phoenix. Dacian Iurea was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Aristide Fetea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aristide Fetea really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Dacian Ghițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Arotăriței in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Tapalagă in the 74th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Dacian Ghițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Sebastian Ilieș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Berea getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Sebastian Ilieș hit a great ball. Golo Phoenix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, FC Berea's goalkeeper Dacian Iurea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristide Fetea. When Codruț Plop fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Berea's protests and gave Codruț Plop a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Codruț Plop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 94 minutes, Golo Phoenix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Golo Phoenix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
