Duarte Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paio York in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Ulisses Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte Duarte should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paio York got free with Duarte Duarte in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, Kürşat Aktaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Rodolfo Lencastre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Taveira in the 34th minute of play. Duarte Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Taveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Rodolfo Lencastre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Duarte Duarte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vicente Madruga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Lencastre to strike the kick off in the second half. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Monsanto in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ruben Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Portugal's Leal Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Duarte in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Duarte in the 61st minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Leal Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Duarte came free, but Leal Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Madruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Madruga. 68 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Leal Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Golo Duarte. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Brás took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Portugal's goalie and right to Ulisses Duarte. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Portugal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Duarte Duarte came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Paio York. But to his dismay, Paio York quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 86th minute, Paio York ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Ulisses Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Leal Simões made a huge save. Duarte Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Viveiros in the 90th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Filipe Viveiros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Duarte Duarte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 91st minute, Paio York got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Portugal's Vicente Madruga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gustavo Brás in the 93 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Kürşat Aktaş got a free kick in the 94th minute. When Portugal's Paio York in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Portugal fans cheered their team off the field, for while CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
