Gaspar Primo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Telo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Gaspar Primo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramiro Blai came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gaspar Primo could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Roberto Telo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaspar Primo. That made the score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. Eusebio Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Primo made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ramiro Blai sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonatan Bortzaioriz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ramiro Blai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Ramiro Blai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Primo. Frontera AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Blai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
