Sotero Besga was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Ortegano's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Deportivo Ortegano's Serafino Berria getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Vasco Rovira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Şoimaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasco Rovira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Şoimaru went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Damian Tender had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafino Berria. The audience was convinced that Victor Răcănel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vasco Rovira was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Damian Tender was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Ortegano's Francesco Samano got a free kick in the 24th minute. Codruț Grozăvescu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Grigore Buzgar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sotero Besga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Damian Tender made a huge save. 40 minutes into the game, Deportivo Ortegano's Aztore Cobian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Tender made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Damian Tender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sagrario Meldasgoas, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes, Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. RED BLUE STAR's Damian Tender tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Şoimaru was the one to do the kick off. Francesco Samano kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Aztore Cobian came free, but Damian Tender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Samano's late challenge caught a RED BLUE STAR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francesco Samano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Francesco Samano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Vintilă Ilie sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Deportivo Ortegano's Vasco Rovira didn't even have to move. Damian Tender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aztore Cobian in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Şoimaru in the 70th minute of play forced Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Vasco Rovira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aztore Cobian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Deportivo Ortegano's Aztore Cobian in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Berria in the 83rd minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Damian Tender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 95th minute of the match Guillermo Montiel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guillermo Montiel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 96 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Montiel. A hard shot by Vintilă Ilie from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Vasco Rovira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Ortegano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
