In the 11th minute Augustin Jernigan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben McCrae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Augustin Jernigan sped through Auchterarder Raiders's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ben McCrae. Augustin Jernigan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ben McCrae having to make a save. If Toby Lagueux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Auchterarder Raiders booed when Arctique F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Auchterarder Raiders's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Jernigan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Auchterarder Raiders players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arctique F.C. were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harry McCaishe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Augustin Jernigan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ben McCrae. Auchterarder Raiders's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Jernigan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ben McCrae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Jernigan in the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Arctique F.C. booed when Auchterarder Raiders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Stark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Parrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Auchterarder Raiders's goalkeeper Ben McCrae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augustin Jernigan. Toby Lagueux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ben McCrae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ben McCrae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toby Lagueux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lyndon Galindo charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lyndon Galindo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Augustin Jernigan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Robert Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arctique F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Rodriguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Jernigan got free with Ben McCrae in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Arctique F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
