In the 18th minute, Roy Makaay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Furtado Ozaolaza in the 23rd minute of play. Villaverde Celeste Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GERLIROJO Ψ the free kick. After 47 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Vachon. Martin Jax charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Jax the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Villaverde Celeste Clube made a substitution. Romário Carvalho replaced Dino Manfredi. After a rather tough play, GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax got a free kick in the 49th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy Makaay made a kick off. The supporters of GERLIROJO Ψ booed when Villaverde Celeste Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nenko Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Furtado Ozaolaza in the 55th minute of the match. Adriano Vilanova blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nenko Reza having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Vilanova came free, but Nenko Reza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Juan Morata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kıraç Uskan. The corner led to Villaverde Celeste Clube's Tang Qian Xiong getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Kıraç Uskan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roy Makaay in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Morata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nenko Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Ihintza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76thth minute of the game Furtado Ozaolaza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Furtado Ozaolaza in the 79th minute of play forced Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nenko Reza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Furtado Ozaolaza's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kıraç Uskan got free with Juan Morata in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The GERLIROJO Ψ fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when GERLIROJO Ψ's Furtado Ozaolaza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
