Spectators: 423 (Terracing: 318, Seating: 97, VIP seats: 8) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cornel Rogozea kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes Alexandria Team08 got a freekick which was hit by Adam Butnaru. Traian Sucigan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornel Rogozea, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Andrei Voicescu got a free kick in the 12th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Rareș Ficsinescu put in a rough tackle. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Steaua Pildesti! Traian Sucigan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Rareș in the 22nd minute of play. Bogdan Goma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marius Cănănău having to make a save. Marius Cănănău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Corvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With an all-out effort, Alexandria Team08's Marius Cănănău threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niculae Corvin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Andrei Voicescu's late challenge caught a Alexandria Team08's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrei Voicescu helped the player get up and apologised. Alexandria Team08's Radu Răducan was substituted for Valentin Smarandache. After 34 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Voicescu. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Niculae Corvin took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Marius Cănănău to make any attempt to save it. When Vintilă Bâru fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alexandria Team08's protests and gave Vintilă Bâru a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Vintilă Bâru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Goma to make the kick off. Bogdan Goma might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marius Cănănău. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bogdan Goma ran back to his position shaking his head. Marius Cănănău didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niculae Corvin went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Corvin came free, but Marius Cănănău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Butnaru kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Bogdan Goma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alexandria Team08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 83rd minute, FC Steaua Pildesti's Octav Mergea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-1. Mircea Ghionescu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Alexandria Team08's Bogdan Goma got a free kick in the 90th minute. Valentin Rareș might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Traian Sucigan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Rareș ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the game, Bogdan Goma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Marius Cănănău was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexandria Team08 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Steaua Pildesti for a fine match.
